Kickboxing & Muay Thai Tournament
August 31 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
United Thai Boxing & MMA and Apex Martial Arts Center are hosting our 2nd IKF Point Kickboxing (PKB), Point Muay Thai (PMT) and Point Boxing (PBSC) Mid-Atlantic Championship on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Netsports in Morrisville (same place as the last one).
This is a continuous fighting semi-contact tournament. The focus is on points, not power. No knockouts allowed!
Rule Styles are Point Kickboxing (International Rules), Point Unified Rules (Limited clinch for 3-5 seconds) and Point Muay Thai (Clinch & Sweeps). No elbows or knees to the head allowed.
We’ll have a food truck on site for some tasty eats.
SCHEDULE
Kids & Teens (ages 5 to 17)
- Kids/Teens Fighter Weigh-ins begin at 9:00am.
- Kids/Teens Fighter Rules meeting at 10:30am.
- Kids/Teens Point Sparring begins at 11:00am.
Adults (Ages 18 & Up)
- Adult Weigh-ins begin at 11:00am.
- Adult Fighter Rules meeting at 1:00pm.
- Adult Point Sparring begins at 1:30pm.
SPECTATORS
- Spectators’ entry at 10:30am.
